Jordon receives RYLA award

Jordon Slingo of 40 Degreez receives his award from Farnham Rotary club for participating in the Rotary Youth Leadership Award at High Ashurst on the 29th March to the 3rd April.

This was a team building exercise full of challenging activities to enhance communication, cooperation and trust skills.

Such fears of heights and water activities were overcome with fantastic achievements to all but particularly for Jordons group in the raft making as they won the golden oar challenge.

Jordon was delighted to have the opportunity to experience RYLA. He feels that he has grown in his confidence and communication skills and has made a number of new friends.

He was very excited to be asked along to the Rotary club where he was presented a certificate of achievement and gave all members thanks for giving him the opportunity.
