Safeguarding Policy

All children, young people under 18 and vulnerable adults, i.e. those who are (or may be) unable to take care of themselves or protect themselves from significant harm or serious exploitation, have the right to be kept safe.

40 Degreez Centre believes that it is always unacceptable for a child, young person or vulnerable adult to experience abuse of any kind and is committed to safeguarding and promoting their welfare regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability, sexuality or beliefs and expects all trustees, staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

All staff and volunteers are made aware of and understand the Policy and Procedures. A simple staff guide is provided.
